Mission

PEDL intends to deliver “best in class” engineering, administration and warehousing training services to the P&DGTL Group Members, to the community of Peterhead and beyond. The organisation shall continuously invest in and develop its team members to ensure they are most able to effectively and passionately train others.

The training provided shall be effective in preparing trainees for employment. The enthusiastic team at PEDL shall coach, motivate and encourage all trainees to maximise their own potential through learning and subsequently applying gained knowledge in their careers.

In pursuit of this mission, the organisation creates a safe learning environment and rigorously maintains total compliance with the requirements of all Health and Safety and Environmental legislation. PEDL shall manage Quality systems and outputs to completely satisfy stakeholder requirements.

Vision

Our vision is to create a positive learning environment where all staff and trainees are encouraged to and do develop their skills, competency and experience.

In pursuit of this vision, the centre management shall ensure that the best available resources are in place to facilitate that personal development.

It is always our intention to ensure that trainees and staff are developed in social, intra-personal and inter-personal skills that will help them to take their place in society and add value to their communities in everyday life.
